The Chapter of the Spider - I (Basics)
Revealed in the 5th year of Prophethood (PBUH) in Makkah
Context - there was immense persecution - torture, murder, social ostracization, boycott, banishment against the first few Muslims. There were only a few hundred Muslims at the time, all of them in Makkah. Some of them were deeply hurt and felt weak, and approached the Beloved Prophet (PBUH) asking him to intervene with Allah and ask for mercy.
I will focus on the instruction given to the Muslims of the time.
