Sorry I disappeared for a bit yesterday. I went out with my friends Ankush (my badminton buddy) and his wife Dipti, and radhu (one of my bffs) and her husband aditya and had the most interesting evening. So both ankush and Aditya are "businessesmen" for lack of a better word, and obviously are deeply entrenched in the economic side of the war. While I have always looked at the historical angle, the humanitarian cost of a war, these guys have such a different lens! What ensued was a long discussion on why Trump wanted this war: their perspective was he thought it would be a quick fix to strengthen the dollar, drive up the price of gold and crude oil. Little did he know that a comparatively tiny country like Iran would be so war ready, and rage back at them with unimaginable might. They ofcourse gave great details of the debt: GDP ratio blah blah of which I understood some part, but I saw the world for being a complex bubble where really donkeys are playing havoc with innocent lives. I was also amused with how each person looks at war with a lens that concerns him. Being doctors, we are so much more involved in the humanitarian sympathies, as opposed to watching global economics with great fascination.
So what is my place in this world, you ask?
My place on this planet is to spread love. I have been put here to love and look after whoever I come into contact with. It is isn't in my destiny to be looked after. It is in my destiny to be the caregiver. And so role will be small, but I will make it count. Maybe it'll be three people, maybe it'll be five people, maybe ten. But they will feel that she came, she loved and she went.

Ankush and Adit also told me about something called Claude AI where they have created agents for themselves who send them daily letters, analyse the market, adjust their portfolios, basically do everything that's cerebral in their lives, leaving them time to do house hold chores and wash the bartans. (That's my spin on it. I mean, if AI is going to do the brain work, who will do jhadu pota?)
