If I could freeze a moment in time and put it in a snow globe, it would have been purus birthday party this evening. 10 boys on the island in the middle of the most delicious water, playing football, casually jumping in to save the goals, camaraderie in the air, puru well integrated with his peers. I thanked God. I offer him infinite thanks. I pray this boy finds himself, and i pray that this moment when I can shake up a transparent orb and see the water swish around creating some magic around these boy-men, always recreates itself, in the blink of an eye. My dear friend Mallika came and joined us at the end (she is the one whose photo I had sent you once, my three friends) and we had a lovely brief swim before the kids got out.
13th birthday done. Phew! Sasta, sundar and tikaoo: Memories forever.
