Forgive my ignorance visa vis the geography of Vietnam. I just know I viewed it in zoomed in map form to plan a trip, with two internal flights to Da Nang and Hanoi, and hence didn't realise the tear drop shaped country was land locked on one side. It looks so beautiful, each picture looks like a slice of paradise. I hope you travel there too, some day. Anyway, I'll give you real time accounts once I get there, two months from now!
Elif Shafaks forty rules of love.....I did not like that book. I read it when it had released maybe 4/5 years ago. I found the concept of old people falling in love, gross. (Like parents having sex), but now as I'm getting older maybe I'll have to re-think the age barriers;) Anyway, general belief is still that love is for the youth, and we should not take it away from them, though they squander it and are foolish. (Youth is wasted on the young etc etc.) Im in a turp. TURP OTs always smell like a fish tank, don't you think? Met Raina Sir today, he was telling away in BCH, giving a discourse on every topic under the sun. Thought of the other kashmiri urologist I know:) (he's infinitely more soft spoken). Did you know, MaMo also had a Kashmiri boss in Ahmedabad where he did DNB? He worships the floor he walks on.
