Life, and all that is in it.

Hey Aaiiii,

Say Hi to Antu for me.

That guy from IKDRC is Jamal Rizvi. His mother is Scottish, not Kashmiri - I know him well, he and I have a nice connection. He rides a Harley Davidson (I think), and, yes, is unmarried and enjoying his life. (You might want to get in touch!)

Prof C Pramesh is the Director of TMC now. A UK-trained Thoracic Surgeon. I don't know him that closely - but we do speak on the same group - we are part of the National Cancer Grid. (Flexes a little, takes a puff of his cigarette, and blows some smoke in the air to make the shape of a gun, which he then blows in no particular direction)

Get in touch with Rizvi, Aaiii...

My anesthesiologist came one hour late in his electric car. He was on night duty in another Hospital.

I just finished an RIRS.

I wish I could make a system wherein I wouldn't have to charge the patient anything - and the patient wouldn't have to worry about money - an in-between system like Ayushman - but more reliable and with better remuneration for all. No rambling intended.

I sense you are taking this blog slow - fourth time syndrome I guess. I totally understand why - and do whatever you feel is good for you.

I am also a little busier than I was three months ago - we just found out that there is a road widening project which entails the loss of the front 60 odd feet of the Hospital... Luckily that's the OPD block and pharmacy and staff quarters and not the main building - but it's a loss and we can't construct on top of the the Hospital, only three floors are allowed. Kashmir is Earthquake prone, Zone V, and there is a vertical limit - soft soil and high water bed levels, etc...

I am happy you have a day off! It's nice to know - for what this breathless existence, if not to Worship with every given breath.

There's an Urdu line -

Har saans yeh kehti hai, Hum hain, to Khuda bhi hai.

Have a nice day!!!
