Good morning OB,
Teary and heavy hearted? Mme. Opti Mism is marvellous lady. She can put her hands on anyone's face, laying the flat of her palms against the patient's cheeks and blow soft air on his/her eye lids. She infuses her rare vapours of hope and excitement into the recipient and instantly the pain lessens! She enters the soul and with a single powerful push, displaces the heavy bolder that sits on his heart. It is reluctant at first, to move, but she is unrelenting. She pushes it with unyielding might and it nudges, turns a corner and rolls off into the void. Let her enter you, dear OB van Kanobe.....for the world will continue to spin for those who are downtrodden and those who are uplifted. Remember you are one of those who uplifts those around him. Team up with her, and continue spreading the cheer and care that you do!
I have good news for you! Yesterday's baby has indeed woken up and had breakfast. From a decorticating child just 12 hours ago. God is Great. I first went for the case wishing the child the easiest outcome (death). I thought to myself, how do parents which such limited resources, look after such a challenging child? When I saw him this morning, I saw his sparkle and irresistible cuteness; THANKS BE TO GOD!!! This babboo will never go to school, but he will learn some hobby and continue to spread joy with his contagious smile.
Do you need more reasons to be happy OB? I can give you ten, for every one argument you put up.
I would love to send you an episode. I didn't know if you were reading them/in the mind space to read them. I'm so glad you asked for one:) but you haven't used the clues to guess where they are headed? An urn, some sandy daggers and a crisp paper.....
Episode 10 will drop today:)
I have a relatively free day today (work wise) and tonight I have called parents and in laws to celebrate the end of purus exams. My dear Kurush and Annabel Tarapor (purus English tuition teacher and her husband) will also join us. They are great inspirations for the boys. Kurush was a pilot with AI, and one of the most dynamic Uncles I know! Absolute dare-devil (he had stolen the drum stick from the band The Police (precursor to Sting) when they had come in the 70's to Bombay to perform, under the behest of the Time and Talents Club, a Parsi Women's organisation who thought they were inviting a British Police Band to play in aapro Bombay.
Have a great day OB. What is this hut in a village? Is it social service or is it your Village? It sounds like a really special family day. They are lucky to have you, you are lucky to have them. How is little Wali feeling??
Prayers and smiles,
#pathologicaloptimism
