So I am reading your explanations with two assumptions on my part:
I am accepting these are your interpretations of the text. I assume you are reading them in Arabic and translating for me?
I am looking for comparisons between the teachings, and whatever little I know of Hinduism. I am no religious scholar, but my profound belief is that all scriptures teach love for humanity and love for God, so I seek those messages to reaffirm my belief.
I hope at no point i offend you, with my curiousity and questions. If it's fine with you, I would like to openly question you. If it upsets you, we can steer clear from this, I completely understand.
Religion is deeply personal. We come from different belief systems. I belief in One Universal God, being Nature Himself. I despise the "marketed Hinduism", because it is very interpretation driven, and I despise Godmen. So i dont read your text as a Hindu in the modern sense of the word. I read it as a student of philosophy, who has read a small portion of text as a questioner.
From what I previously have understood: Till the birth of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH), the sons of Abraham practiced Wahhabism? Is that correct?
From what I understand from what you have told me:
There was persecution against these few children of Abraham, as they were freshly embracing Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) told them to stand strong and steadfast in their faith, and that they would be forgiven their disobedience to their parents with regard to their faith (here is the exception to the rule). He encouraged them to stay loyal to the One Supreme. He speaks of a single Supreme God, whose name should be taken in every breath. Good deeds Good thoughts, good duties must be done, with His name in every breath. We will be tested many a time, but we must continue to do good, till we finally attain a place by his side and fuse with Him. Sinners will be punished.
OB, this is exactly congruent with my beliefs.
But I have one question. Why does he say only Islam is the Truth? Why doesn't he says only God is the truth?
Like I said, I don't want to offend you with my curiousity. So if you don't like it, please tell me.
