Life, and all that is in it.

physiology vs prejudice

Hey Aaaaiiii,

You are absolutely right to point out the differences in physiology which do not only pertain to melanin and facial bone structure. That's physiology and anatomy and is different even in families. However, extrapolating that observation to make a general assumption about ALL people with a particular melanin concentration and a particular facial structure is where racism arises. It's akin to saying, 'I know a few smart Kashmiris, therefore all of Kashmir must be intelligent.' That's incorrect. There are some dumb-ass Kashmiris too.

Chengiz Khan was 'Yellow' and he ruled half the world.

Alexander was White, and he ruled half the world.

The Ethiopian Empire, or the Malian Empire were once seats of learning and thought and great architecture, they were 'Black.'

There are morbidly obese blacks and yellow basketball players.

Indians excel in cricket, shooting, archery, but so do Australians, and West Indians. An Indian once stood fourth in track and field in the 1984 Olympics. An Indian won the Gold Medal in javelin in 2021. These are sports that involve training and experience. Not race.

In terms of religion there is an answer to this - Allah has made everyone different. Even identical twins do not have the same moles. Hence, in our infinite variety, we see His Greatness. Also, He has clearly mentioned that we have been given each some varying levels of faculties - some are strong, tall, and hardy, some are short, weak, but extra intelligent. Each one will be tested based on their genes and their opportunities. But nowhere is race mentioned, no one will be given a free pass because they have a particular colour, or creed. In terms of our Life and Afterlife, the colour of the skin is immaterial.

One last observation - it is the extension of such observations, ('sly jew') that have led to ostracization of large numbers of humans - Jews in Mediaeval Europe? The blanket basketing of Jews as - sly, smart, crooked, etc, by extension, led to a lot of unfortunate crimes against them. And dare I say, there is an under current today in India of such stereotyping of a particular 'race of belief.' Sounds familiar? Turn on the TV.
