Notes on Episode 9

Excellent background research work and incorporation of Mata Hari's accent into her monologue. You are getting better and better is what an old record player would say.

What stands out to me -

  1. The Mata Hari monologue
  2. Sea-sickness in the English Channel (who wouldn't?)
  3. Cornwall and the firing squad - a beautiful example of foreshadowing - dropping a hint to the reader that something is coming up
  4. The picture that tells a thousand words (didn't look too carefully, but check out her great toes - hallux valgus?)
  5. Drink, hit, drink, hit.
