Mubashir plans to leave us - he wants to join somewhere else fulltime. So much for tandoori chicken and fried rice.
We brought in a senior guy today. He was in the administration, once was a CMO, Deputy Director, etc. Decent and sincere guy. Lost his wife to cancer in 2010. He asked for some time get adjusted. The other anesthesiologist, the one with me on the train, is a younger fellow, nice guy too. We plan for the older guy to run the whole Department, provided he feels confident, since he hasn't had much practice recently.
Fingers and noses crossed.
