Ghaus, engineer, works for Michelin since 2008, now a top executive, based out of Pune. Married with two kids. Father died in 2008. Brother runs a Nursing College, I meet him regularly. Sister in USA. Wife is a professor of Microbiology in DY Patil, Pune.
Rafi, engineer, has a Central Heating company of his own. Father was in Fisheries Department. Brother in Australia since 1997. Sister married and lives in Mumbai.
Guess who?
Adil, engineer, we lived in his house as tenant for 2 years while constructing our house in 1994-1995. Fond memories of playing cricket in the lane outside his house, and lawn tennis in his garden. The guy is the District squash champion. Married, two kids. Sister is an OBGYN. He lost his father to a post colonoscopy complication in 2024.
Javed, engineer, works for the Government. Don't know much about him. We met after 30 years.
Burhan, real estate agent. Works in Bandra Kurla Complex, lives in Thane. Lost his wife a few years ago. One son, who is 6'5'' Masha Allah! Is a customer executive for Raheja Builders.
Yasir, doctor, gave up medicine to run his family business. Father is in jail and under house arrest since 2017. His father was a well connected peacenik who played both sides and paid the price. Now suffering from Prostate Cancer. Yasir is married, three kids. Wife is a pathologist.
On bed, Faiz. Engineer. Freak accident in 2004. Paralysed neck down. The apple of our eyes. Allah bless him.
