Yesterday I had the MOST fun evening ever. Miss Aida, isidora (lazlos mother) and i got into the pool at 4.45pm and swam and gossiped galore till 6.30! The boys ran on the island, water slide, diving board, played catch, hand tennis in the water, (basically didn't care about us). Then at 6.30 we all got out and the rest of the flute family joined us! I don't know if you know Ayesha Sunavala, who might have been at jaslok at the same time as you? Anyway, her daughter Anoushka also learns the flute with the same teacher. So the sunavalas, dimple and dalai (dalais dad flies with indigo, so he wasn't there), miss altyn (flute teacher), her boyfriend Aldiyar Sir who plays the French horn, Miss Aida (the best piano teacher ever) and Lad family had a ginormous dinner of everything under the sun and United World of Music laughed so loudly that we shook the earth! I can't remember the last time I've laughed out loud like this with friends, in the night, under the stars;) the best part was how the kids played!! They sat on a separate table (3 boys, 2 girls) and had their dinner and then disappeared somewhere to play. We found them hectically playing basketball for 2 hours! At ten o clock, some very satieted adults rolled around hunting them down, while they were laughing, sweaty and totally ingratiated. Full marks to Lazlo, he's an exceptional boy! Half Serbian-half British, he has come from London and is so good at bringing everyone together. Generally, that is the role of antu, but antu falters when it comes to girls. Lazlo managed to get the girls and boys to play so well!! We came home exhausted but I woke up early in a cold sweat because I still hadn't made the ppt for Ma's birthday. Fortunately, I'm the master of the last minute, and i finished it while everyone else was still snoring:)
Now for maths (death, taxes) and then gearing up for the birthday party!! Woohoo!!
