Why would we have to exist at two places at the same time? OB in 2026 will exit 2026 and go to 1878 (yes, yes, I know birth year).
Matter can neither be created not destroyed. Then the standard argument applies: how can we explain that the global population of x number of souls, increasing to 6billion x today?
If you look at any ancient civilation or text, they believe that time is expansile. They talk of people's lifespans being 1000s of years, which has, over the past millenium, been cut down to several decades. Is it not the same in the old testament? Some people living for centuries? Immaculate conceptions? People travelling from the orient in a single night to reach Jerusalem on foot/camels?
Science is only what we know today. To assume that it is the absolute end of knowledge, is ignorant. So today we can prove that a time-less black hole exists, which we couldn't prove, say 50 years ago.
Fear: we are fearful to go back in time, because of the implications on our actions, and the fascination with immortality. It also brings up the dilemma of changing our actions and modifying the situation. But have you ever thought that we could have existed in another time, and might exist again in another time?
Basically we only know what we see. Philosophy and religious texts border on 'fiction' because they make us imagine what we can't 'see'. But they explain alot of existential questions that we cannot explain with plain facts.
I don't need to convince you of believing what you cannot see. That is the atheists argument, which luckily we don't have to have. So with the belief that someone is looking after you, watching your actions, maintaining the balance of your karmas/actions, why don't you allow yourself to see that we can go back and forth when we exit this body as we know it. Maybe after I die I will go to 200CE? And then I when I die of an insect bite, I will go to 2600 CE? It's a billion year old planet. That fact always takes my breath away! I am an ant. You are an ant. Luckily Antu is anant. And we ants are running around helter skelter pursuing whatever might be our "jam", as the young kids say.....
Final argument: don't we say, the days crawl by while the years fly past! We are almost at the half way mark through the year!
