No, I didn't want to leave my family. Never.
You don't remind me of anything in my past. Nothing.
It would have been ideal if we had been in the same city, family friends, with kids growing up together, we meeting often, workdays and weekends, and then we would have a great friendship that would have blossomed in the shade of our families. We would step out for coffee, (Dammit D, I would treat you to coffee five times a day, with tandoori chicken, shawarma and fries), we would bounce ideas off each other, write a bit, read a bit, reflect a lot, share parenting tips, share family problems, talk about hospitals, new and old, colleagues, young and old, and we would learn to respect each other and grow old together in the OT... But. Life isn't ideal. It is what it is.
